And The Home Warranty Company Said this is a Recall, and No New Deductible is Due!
What the warranty is actually telling you is that if the problem is actually the same then a deductible will not be due and it will be a RECALL.
However, that means if we come out and the unit is not cooling due to the unit being a couple lbs low on freon. On the next visit, when the unit has a bad run capacitor; this is not the same problem and a new deductible is due.
On a RECALL if we find nothing wrong, or the Home Warranty denies the claim, then you will be charged the standard $89.95 service call.

Customers tend to tell you that THE SAME UNIT is not working. It must be the same repair as before, NOT the same problem. Saying it is the same unit doing the same thing does not waive the deductible. Many things can cause the same problem, but the effect or repair can be different.
